Please contact the office of each faculty or graduate school for information on the data items to be provided and the purpose of use. As a general rule, the student's grades and other information will be sent to the person who bears the school expenses (parents, etc.).

Procedures for requesting the disclosure and correction of personal information

Requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, etc., of personal information concerning an individual will be accepted by the department or division that has jurisdiction over the information in question. As a general rule, requests will be accepted when the request is made in writing by the individual and the personal information manager recognizes that there is a legitimate reason for the request.

Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties

In principle, Doshisha University will not provide personal data to third parties without the prior consent of the individual. However, this does not apply in cases that fall under "Article 23, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information" or Article 7 of the University's "Regulations Concerning the Protection of Personal Information.
